Josh began playing guitar at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by listening to those better than him and, of course practice. He gained performance experience in the Seattle area by playing at such venues as Showbox Sodo, Central Tavern, and El Corazon, and with acts such as Stript, Alice-N-Chains, and Iron Spyder. Though Josh can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Metallica, Van Halen, Alice-N-Chains, and Pantera which had great influence on his style of playing. Josh loves music because it brings him inner peace and loves teaching music because he wants to share and spread that inner peace.
