Hello, My name is Jarod. I am a Computer Science student at the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville but more importantly, I'm a piano player. I took piano lessons for 8 years and continue to play to this day. I believe inspiration is key to learning music and staying passionate will always be the goal. I've always found inspiration from artists all over the place from Jerry Lee Lewis's "boogie woogie" style to Beethoven's phenomenal classical pieces. While I do not have experience in teaching, I am an Eagle Scout and have spent many years learning what it takes to become a great leader. I hope to not only teach students how to play piano, but to inspire them to explore a musical outlet in their lives.
