A Canadian-American Composer/Woodwind Musician from Debary, Florida, Josh is a Studio Jazz Writing major at University of Miami, and holds a degree in Jazz Performance from University of North Florida. He started composing after finishing the game Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which made him realize he wanted to write music as a career. As a composer, Josh has received multiple commissions, worked with Grammy-winning artists, won 2 Downbeat Student Music Awards, and even organized a concert exclusively featuring his own big band arrangements of video game music. As an instructor, Josh has had his students make multiple honor bands, state bands, and even motivated them to pursue a career in music.
