Shana began singing at the age of five. Over the years, she developed her skills further by singing in choirs all her life, then furthering her education with a music degree from Lee University. She gained performance experience in the Voices of Lee, a professional A cappella group, by singing at such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Beacon Theater on Broadway, and the Grand Ole Opry with acts such as Rascal Flatts and the Gaither Vocal Band. Though Shana can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are pop, a cappella, and gospel which had great influence on her style of singing. Shana loves music because it is an authentic expression of feeling and art, she loves teaching music because everyone deserves a chance to discover themselves through song and artistry.
