Alex began playing percussion at the age of ten. Over the years, he developed his skills further, having graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in music education. He gained performance experience in various fields including, but not limited to, jazz, marching percussion, orchestral, Brazilian, and chamber music. Alex loves music because it is an accessible outlet for everyone to explore their creativity and loves teaching music because it allows for people of all ages to express themselves through a new medium.
