Hi, I'm TJ! I am a lifelong musician based in Southwest Florida, and have been teaching instruments for about 10 years now through various establishments as well as independently. I play in several bands, including my own alt-rock project called Neverless, which I write and record all of the music for. I also play drums for the Tampa based band, Discord Theory, and do plenty of fill-in work here and there. I can teach just about any style on a variety of different instruments, from stringed instruments, to drums, to piano, and a little bit of everything in between! I pride myself as being a well rounded teacher, who can give students a unique perspective on their instrument, and how it fits into the music they enjoy playing. Performing Experience:
I have been performing live since I was in middle school, starting with the school jazz band, and have continued to gig regularly to this day. I have played 300+ shows at this point in my career ranging from local clubs, to sold out venues and major festivals slots. I have toured through most of the US, and have spent months on the road throughout my career.
Experience Teaching:
I started teaching independently throughout high school. After graduating, I spent 3 years managing and teaching lessons through a local music store in Venice, FL. For band related reasons, I had to step away from the store, but have continued to teach independently for the past few years since then.
