I’ve been playing guitar and bass since age 11. I’m currently 41 years old. I began playing bass at the insistence of a close friend who had recently started guitar. It was the best advice I ever got! Since then I’ve played bass in a number of rock/punk/metal bands until around 2020 when I started to reach out to other musicians with songs that I wrote myself. Now I currently play guitar and do vocals in two bands here in Columbus. I’m a huge fan of music and I love learning by ear! I’m also a user of tabs I’m lessons but I really prefer to help train the students ear and intuition! I love my position at School of Rock where I currently teach and it would take quite an impressive place to get me to switch. However, the pay there is not great! I love music and want to continue to inspire new students, and I hope to make it my full time gig. Thank you so much for considering my application! I look forward to talking to you!
