Hi, my name is Will, and I am a Music Education Major from North Carolina. I have been a student of music for 14 years total. My teaching style can best be described as exciting and full of passion. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe anyone can enjoy music no matter their age or experience and through music we can enrich our lives. In my lessons, you can expect to learn everything from solid fundamentals to music theory and musicianship. I like to tell my students its okay to make mistakes, its all part of the learning process. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students improve and take pride in their music. My favorite performance was one of my Qualifying Exams in College when I played the Paul Hindemith Sonata for Piano and Trumpet. My students love that I have a very calm attitude and a sense of humor. I primarily teach Brass Instruments, but I can also teach Piano and Accordion as well as some basics in Voice. My approach as a teacher is to first evaluate my students capabilities and then to create lessons and strategies based on the individual students needs. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
