Danteis a seasoned professional musician whose lifelong dedication to his craft has fueled an inspiring journey in the world of music. From an early age, Dante's unwavering passion for music became evident, and he fondly recalls his fifth-grade discovery of his profound connection with the saxophone. Growing up in the vibrant Washington D.C. metropolitan area, he drew inspiration from his father, an accomplished bassist, as well as legendary musicians like Herbie Hancock, Jeff Lorber, and Miles Davis, whose grooves resonated deeply within him. Driven by his innate musical ear, Dante embarked on a remarkable journey of self-teaching, mastering a diverse array of instruments including the saxophone, piano, bass, flute, drums, and percussion. Through his relentless pursuit of musical excellence, Dante's talents were further nurtured during his tenure with Colours Performing Arts Group, an esteemed scholastic program that places a strong emphasis on arts education. Over a span of ten years, he honed his skills and had the privilege of performing in front of audiences numbering in the hundreds of thousands across the nation. The culmination of Dante's relentless dedication came when he earned a coveted scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Immersed in an environment brimming with talent and guided by revered music luminaries such as Stanley Turrentine, Chris Vadala, Fred Lipsius, Najee, Dino Govoni, and the incomparable Walter Beasley, Dante's childhood dream of pursuing music as a vocation became his everyday reality. This transformative experience enabled him to delve deeper into the artistry and intricacies of his craft. Dante's musical prowess has transcended borders, taking him on captivating journeys across the globe. From enchanting audiences in Australia to igniting stages in Albania, Alaska, and Africa, his performances have left an indelible mark wherever he goes. Notably, Dante has been a valued member of the B.B. King Allstar Band, touring the seas on Holland America Line since 2016. Alongside this esteemed ensemble, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Eddie Floyd, Usher, Norman Conners, Patti Austin, Mickey Howard, Howard Hewett, and many more. As a professional musician, Dante 's intense commitment to his craft serves as an inspiration to aspiring musicians and music enthusiasts worldwide. His relentless pursuit of musical excellence, coupled with his deep-rooted love for the art form, has propelled him to extraordinary heights. Dante's captivating performances and mastery of multiple instruments are a testament to his lifelong dedication and enduring passion. Maintenance and Care**-**Routine Maintenance**: Techniques for keeping the saxophone clean and in good condition.-**Troubleshooting Common Issues**: How to identify and fix minor problems that may affect performance. **3. Sound Production**-**Breath Control and Wind Support**: Exercises and techniques to develop strong, controlled breath support.-**Tone Development**: Strategies for producing a consistent and pleasing tone across the saxophone’s range.-**Embouchure Training**: Developing the correct mouth position and tension for optimal sound. **4. 35 Years of Performance experience in total with 27 years of professional experience. National performances as well as international touring over the past 20 years. Currently an active cruise ship musician with the BB KINGS ALLSTARS BAND on Holland America Line ships.

Experience Teaching:

I have taught with the Atlanta Public School System for over 10 years and I’ve conducted private music lessons for 15+ years. My students ages have ranged from kindergarten to 65 years of age.
