Sheila L.

Sheila is a passionate piano player who began taking lessons at age 7. She was classically trained then as she got older tried out a few different types of genres, playing piano for the high school jazz band and also performing with a couple different style bands; some hard rock, classic rock cover bands, blues, pop, country, indie, and even some electronic. She has successes such as being invited to write with number one hit songwriters in Nashville such as Lance Carpenter-Kelsea ballerinis cowriter on her #1 hit song ‘love me like you mean it’ on three songs on separate occasions, as well as Drew Baldridge. She is a strong solo artist/performer as well, still incorporating all of her different musical backgrounds but what may be considered simply as ‘piano pop’, or ‘anyone listening’. She learned additional music theory in elementary school through high school and marching band, then later on completed some college for music education before covid19 interrupted the music program she was in. She still plans to finish school and further strengthen her teaching skills and obtain her degree! But she was top of all her music classes in college and even tutored fellow students in college and received compliments on how she was able to simplify music to help her peers understand easier. Learning piano happened to her by accident, she was just having fun! She would love to make learning piano an exciting and inspiring experience for everyone else!
