Lee L.

Lee is a trumpet player based in Phoenix, ​Arizona. He received his B.A. from LSU in Jazz Studies ​under Professor Doug Stone, and just completed his ​M.M. in Jazz Studies at the University of New Orleans ​with Victor Atkins and Brian Seeger. While at the ​University of New Orleans, Lee has performed or worked ​alongside Johnny Vidacovich, Rodney Whitaker, Jason ​Marsalis, Ashlin Parker, Mark Braud and Bobby Broom. ​In the city, he has performed at New Orleans’ Jazz ​Festival with Donald Harrison and the Tipitina’s Interns, ​Tipitina’s with David Batiste’s The Gladiators featuring ​Leo Nocentelli, and at the Ace Hotel with Muévelo. In ​addition, Lee recently recorded big band studio work ​with the NOLA Players which featured José Feliciano.
