Beatrice A.

Beatrice, born in May of 1996, began her musical studies at the age of three. At thirteen years old, she was accepted into the high school program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. From there, Beatrice pursued her Bachelors in Piano Performance at Washington Adventist University before returning to UNCSA to complete her Masters in Music. Beatrice has attended various music festivals including Port City Music Festival, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, and the Rebecca Penny’s Piano Festival. She has also performed in masterclass for a number of notable pianists including Richard Goode, Awadagin Pratt, Daniel Epstein, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, and the Eroica Piano Trio. In 2018, she won second place in the E. R. Davis Piano Competition. While her degrees emphasize performance, Beatrice also has a passion for teaching, previously serving as part of the teaching faculty for the UNCSA Community Music School and the Separk Music Store, and currently teaching in Chattanooga, TN. In addition, she is an accomplished church musician and has served as the music director and pianist for various churches for over fifteen years.
