My name is Matthew and have over 10 years of drumming experience. My Music career started in middle school when I fell in love with the highschool drumline. In highschool I began to play the drum set. Discovering all different genres of music such as funk, punk rock, metal, R&B, jazz, and electronic music to list a few. I am currently in a rock band called "mechanical canine" who I have toured with from coast to cost. I Have taught a highschool drumline for a season and have one year of experience teaching music at The Excelsior School of Philadelphia. I Have been studying jazz for the the past five years, currently preparing to audition for jazz drums at Berklee, Oberlin University, and Michigan State University.

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
My lessons are catered to each individual students needs, weather you want learn about marching, rock and roll, funk, jazz, or anything between. I love talking about what makes our favorite music tick, and through the music you love, I will teach you about technique, rudiments, style, and history. Though, if you're not carful, you might not even realize all the learning you're doing because of how much fun you're having!
