Solomon began playing the trumpet at the age of 12. Over the years, he developed his skills further by pursuing a professional career in music performance and pedagogy. He gained performance experience in the classical trumpet/jazz area by playing at such events as the National Trumpet Competition, the Jazz Education Network conference and with acts such as Douglas Hedwig, Eric Siereveld, Ashley Hall to list a few all internationally acclaimed artists. Though Solomon can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical, jazz and Latin Jazz music with a passion for chamber music which had great influence on his style of playing.Solomon loves music because it is universal and bridges the gap between economic and social status.
