Hello! My name is Mia. I graduated from the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1996 and have enjoyed being a private piano and voice instructor for over 25 years. My primary instrument of instruction is voice with an emphasis on opera and musical theater repetoire. I have had many years of solo and ensemble performance in both genres. I also have been giving private piano instruction to students at the beginner to intermediate level. I am a firm believer in teaching my voice students the importance of singing with a healthy vocal technique and teaching my piano and providing both my piano and voice students with a strong foundation in the fundamental concepts of good musicianship.
