From classical opera to country, pop, gospel, and almost all genres in between... I do it all. I studied opera and pop music in college and now I spend my weekends singing and playing in my own band as well as a solo performer. My shows consist of music from all different genres and I pride myself on being able to sing in many different styles.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
If you want to learn to accompany yourself to all your favorite songs I can get you there. You can pick your favorite songs and I will help you develop the skills needed to be confident in your playing.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
- - Advanced
My goal is to help all students achieve their own personal goals while guiding them on proper techniques and helping them develop their own style. Regardless if you want to sing classical music or country music, proper vocal technique is the same across all styles of singing.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
If you want to learn to accompany yourself to all your favorite songs or just getting started learning how the piano works, I can get you there. You can pick your favorite songs and I will help you develop the skills needed to be confident in your playing. Students can also expect to learn music theory and scales to help them excel in their playing.
Formal Education:
I studied music at Catawba College in Salisbury North Carolina where I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance and Worship Arts.
Performing Experience:
During my education, I participated in singing many different styles with classical solo performances of pieces in Italian, French, and German. I also participated in many bands including, pop, country, blues, and gospel roots. Now I spend my weekends playing shows anywhere and everywhere I can either as a solo acoustic act, or in a group of talented musicians.
Experience Teaching:
Over the years I have had many students ranging from age 5 to 16. I teach vocal lessons as well as acoustic guitar and beginner piano.
