Hi, my name is Sophia and I am a Guitarist from Peachtree City I have taught myself guitar, bass, and songwriting for the last 3 years and have played a total of around 4200 hours. My musical influences incluMy Rise Against, Trivium, Sum 41, Escape the Fate, and I also enjoy Foo Fighters. My teaching style can best be described as hands on and focused on learning through playing songs. My teaching philosophy can best be described My saying that anyone can play with the fire for music in the hearts. In my lessons, you can expect to learn chords, leads, so GS structures, scales, and improve. I like to tell my students to play well you need to be committed, and that is the only requirement. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students grow and explore the musical taste through the lens of an instrument. My favorite performance was Rise Against live at the Tabernacle 2022. My students love that I am approachable when it comes to style and teaching methods. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach bass. Students can expect, going through songs step by step and analyzing why and how they work and putting it all together. Students should share songs and inspirations to further hone their experience. Together we will learn basic and advanced chord voicings, the fret-broad, common song structure, Tablature, and varying techniques on both electric and acoustic guitar.
