Christian began playing guitar at the age of 11. Over the past 19 years, he developed his skills further by joining a privately owned music school, playing in bands, practicing, and recording his own music. He gained performance experience through the school, Carters Music and Arts, in Virginia, by playing at local venues. Though Christian can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rock and roll, metal, and classical, which had great influence on his style of playing. Albeit, Christian encourages you to discover and develop your own unique perspective and approach to writing music that flows from your own heart, and provides some technical practices and insights along the way. Christian loves music because it allows him to express the areas of his life he feels are often misunderstood. Music is an outlet, and a discipline, that adds much joy to his life. Playing his guitar has gotten him through struggles that most people didn't know he was having. He loves teaching music because he loves seeing people get to express their own passions and ideas.
