Rob has been a local guitar teacher and musician in Columbia since 1998. After spending two semesters at The University of South Carolina School of Music he began learning under local guitar teacher of the same name. After teaching with his mentor for a number of years, Rob began offering private lessons from his home in West Columbia, not far from downtown Columbia.
Rob N. has over 17 years of music experience in the Summerville area.
Rob N. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Two semesters at The University of South Carolina School of Music.
Private Education:
7 years of private instruction with a local guitar instructor
Performing Experience:
Various local bands over the years including most recently an West African fusion band. Our culminating gig was played in the large auditorium at Coastal Carolina University. Solo acoustic performances at weddings and parties.
Experience Teaching:
I first realized I had a knack for teaching when I began giving lessons to friends in college around 1998. After that, I began teaching private lessons independently for a number of years. In 2007, I began teaching alongside my mentor, in downtown Columbia. Currently, I offer private lessons from my home studio and have been since 2009.
