Worship Leader, Musician and Teacher Mike has an extensive background in Touring, teaching and working with children to adults. Artists he has toured with include, but are not limited to Jared Ashley from Nashville Star, Jonathan and Emily from Lifeway the Word and Worship, Gary Slayton A list session player and artist, Michelle Rene and with the talented Lubben Brothers. He currently still plays with country artist Lee Gibson, but his main focus now is teaching. He desires to see people grow in their craft and in the musical gifts God has given them.

Trained under an incredible drum professor Rich Compton (drums). Trained by Linda Carpenter (piano) Trained by several amazing vocal instructors over the years in and out of college. One of my teachers was an incredible opera teacher who taught all over Europe. Brian Sanarrusia trained me on guitar and I can’t say enough about him as a teacher. Professor William Lopes trained me in vocal and piano as well as worship directing. He is still a mentor to this day.
Performing Experience:
Full time touring Live and studio work for many artists in Country, Christian, funk, pop, and more. I’ve been leading worship since I was 15. I’m now 36.
Experience Teaching:
Has taught privately for about 17 years and at various schools such as Cornerstone Christian Academy (Tennessee) Music City Academy (currently teaching here in Tennessee) Little Prodigy (south Florida), Eagle Academy (currently teaching here in Tennessee), Reveal School of Music (I was the director of the music school and a teacher in south Florida). I helped grow the school from 12 to over 75 students in a year.
