Hello, my name is Grace and I am a voice coach from Shelbyville, KY. I have been a student of music for 18 years, and expect to be for the rest of my life. My musical influences include Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, and classic broadway shows. My teaching style can best be described as meeting the student where they are musically, and working with the talent they already have to expand their range and abilities. My teaching philosophy is simple, if you are open to learn, there is no limit to what you can achieve. In my lessons, you can expect to learn breath control, pitch matching, correct posture, and a confidence you’ll only find in exploring your talent. I like to tell my students to have fun and let the joy of song take over, that’s when we make breakthroughs! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow more confident and comfortable in their own individuality. I have been performing solo or in a band for nearly 2 decades and my favorite performance was at Headliners with my band, Greece. My students love that I am patient and think outside the box to achieve our goals. I primarily teach voice but I can also teach guitar for beginners.
