Jamie has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano with his mom as a child and at the age of 11, began playing clarinet in the school band. He continued his education by enrolling at Florida State University as a music education major. Jamie's favorite thing about music is the peace that settles his mind and heart and his favorite thing about teaching music is the satisfaction of watching somebody achieve their goals. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching Sleigh Ride to a high school concert band and seeing each section’s eyes light up as my instruction clicked in their heads.
