First I need to know what you know, and what your musical interests are. Next we will cover the basics. Above anything I want to get you playing as soon as possible. In order to do that, the first thing we will is go over: •How to tune your guitar • Basic open cords/ CAGED system • Strumming patterns Then we will go over the parts of the guitar, and incorporate learning songs. Once you have those basics down we will move into scales, and incorporate some basic music theory. If these are things you already know, we can jump to learning the fretboard. Keep in mind, the guitar is an amazing instrument, and is fun to play. With a little structure, hopefully you will learn to pick up new skills on your own. My goal is to provide you with the knowledge to become the musician you want to be. I encourage you to ask questions. If I don't know the answer, we will learn it together.

For those who want to learn drums, I have over 20 years of experience with percussion. I need to know what you know so that I can customize your lessons for you. We will start with the most basic straightfor patterns, and work into rudiments, then work into more complex lessons once you've built a solid foundation.
