I have had a passion for music since I was in high school. Through the years I have had the privilege to be on stage entertaining for about 10 years, as well as more recent experience with teaching in both a one-on-one setting, as well as a group 'band' setting. I had a wide variety of vocal interests, with not only being interested in just one genre. With this, I hope that the students and I can work on pieces that don't feel like a chore for them. If they love the music, the practicing and passion to improve will eagerly be with them after a lesson is through. I have most of my experience with Vocal Jazz ensembles, but can play piano, flute, clarinet, and some ukulele. I am not nearly as proficient in the others as I am with the understanding of ones voice, but given a bit of time I can play any tune on said instruments. Experience levels on instruments: Vocal: 9/10 {always room for improvement, and with the years I am losing some of my falsetto} Flute: 6/10 {Been a while since I performed with this instrument, however I still practice and could easily teach it. Piano: 7/10 {Self-taught with many years of research. I do not play huge Bach pieces, but I can do warm-ups and less intense pieces that catch my interest.} Clarinet: 5/10 {Been the longest since I have played this instrument. I do not own one myself anymore.}
