Hi! My name is Bailey, and I am currently a band director from Kansas City. I have been teaching for 5 years now. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want everyone to be able to dive into the topics that they love. In my lessons, you can expect to learn fundamentals of percussion as well as any area you wish to dive further into-drum set, mallet instruments,rudimentall snare, auxiliary percussion, marching percussion, etc. My approach as a teacher is to check in on your current experience level, discuss what you would like to learn, and work on ways for you to get there. Music is a lifelong activity so whether you have already played or are brand new, or just need some assistance with a specific skill/instrument, I will be happy to work with you!
