Hi, my name is Corbin, and I am a musician from Reno Nevada. I have been a student of music for over 9 years. My musical influences include artists such as Pink Floyd, tool, and nirvana, but I also enjoy playing jazz. My teaching style can best be described as very go with flow, versatile. In my lessons, you can expect to learn what YOU want to learn. I like to tell my students the best way to get better is by enjoying what you’re playing. My favorite thing about teaching is watching people grow and learn all while having fun. My favorite performance was when I played a marching band show at Lucas Oil Stadium with DCI. My students love that I was once in their shoes, I’ve learned what’s good and what’s not so good and I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to be even better. I primarily teach percussion, but I can also teach trumpet and bass guitar. My approach as a teacher is to ask what you’d like to learn, whether that be rock music, reading sheets, or playing jazz.
