Hello! My name is Ellaand I am a violinist from Morrison, CO. I started playing violin at the age of 9 and am continuing my education at the University of Denver under Igor Pikayzen. I have been teaching beginner violinists for 5 years and love seeing my students progress and achieve their musical dreams! I primarily teach with the Suzuki or Essential Elements methods—based on what I feel will fit individual students best. I most enjoy teaching classical music and especially love the romantic era with its dynamic instrumentation and its rich texture, with many pieces being amazingly harmonically complex. I ensure I include basic music theory into my lessons as well as I find it to be incredibly important for beginner musicians.
