Hey! Welcome to my profile! My name is Nicholas and I am a Tenor from Concord, NC. I have been a student of music for over 10 years. My musical influences include Bluegrass, Country, Rock, Classical and I also enjoy Opera. My teaching style can best be described as encouraging and practical. My personal teaching philosophy can best be described by saying "I allow my students to search for their own voice". In my lessons, you can expect to build on what you already know, while also exploring new techniques. I like to tell my students: "this is a place to make mistakes". My favorite thing about teaching is helping a student sound as awesome as I know they can be. My favorite personal performance was as Don Jose in the Opera "Carmen". My students love that I allow them to explore their goals. I primarily teach Classical Technique, but I can also teach Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Bluegrass, and Country music. My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe, caring enviroment where students can benefit from a personalized learning approach that will equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their future projects.
