Originally from McAllen, TX, Aaronhas been studying music and playing trumpet with a passion since middle school. He currently teaches privately in Denver and performs throughout Colorado. ceived his bachelor’s degree in trumpet performance from West Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in music performance and well as a certificate in jazz performance from the University of Denver. Aaron has performed at a very high level since the beginning, receiving “All State” honors in high school in orchestra, band, and jazz as well as achieving principal, first chair and lead trumpet in almost every ensemble available to him at West Texas A&M University and the University of Denver along with competing as a semifinalist and finalist in the National Trumpet Competition. Recently Aaron has performed with the Boulder Symphony Orchestra, the Denver Brass, the Diamond Empire Band, the Brass Animals, Denver Municipal Band, and can be found at many jam sessions in the Denver area. Aaron has always found time to teach, privately since high school, in the middle school system in Amarillo, TX, and as a graduate teaching assistant. Mr.enjoys sharing and making music and believes teaching is the best way to achieve that.
