Hello, I'm Kennedy! I'm a third year Music Education undergrad at the University of Kansas, studying band, orchestra and choir. In the past I have led youth group services, informally taught private lessons, performed at countless venues and festivals, and have always had a strong drive to share my love of music with others. I hope to reach younger students starting music, or in their early stages of music making. I specialize in voice and guitar, but have received extensive training including most beginning band and orchestra instruments.

Formal Education:
I am currently attending KU's School of Music to earn my Music Education undergraduate degree covering band, orchestra and choir. I have received private vocal lessons for over 3 years, although I have been publically singing for 12 years.
Private Education:
I continued private guitar lessons for over 10 years while in my home state of Iowa. During these lessons, I also learned and performed the drums and electric bass. My primary genres of focus include grunge, punk, and rock.
Performing Experience:
During my time taking guitar lessons, I had also joined multiple bands spanning across 7 years. We performed at countless festivals and fairs, sporting events, local venues, and community events. I also led a youth group worship band for a year and a half, but volunteered my musicianship toward the church services for over 3 years.
Experience Teaching:
I have informally taught lessons on guitar, percussion and voice in the past, but also have experience teaching in band, orchestra and choir classrooms.
