Ashley has always loved music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of 5 and violin at the age 8. She took lessons in both until age 17. Ashley's favorite thing about music is the wide range of instruments and styles, and her favorite thing about teaching music is seeing the joy music brings to her students. One of her favorite teaching experiences was when a student came into a lesson slightly depressed and was smiling and laughing by the end.
