Nick has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 14 and continued his education by playing in a number of bands, studied music at TCC, and is an active member of the Berklee guitar course. Nick has been playing in the Seattle/Tacoma area for most of his life and has extensive performance experience. His musical influences range from Metallica to the Beatles to Billie Eilis, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizards, Tool, Jelly Roll, Radiohead and Shania Twain. He is a lover of all forms of Rock 60s-present, Funk, Country, Pop and Hip-hop. As a guru and passionate fan of music Nick will not only teach you the foundation to be a great player he will also share with you the stories and origins of songs and artists you are studying. This will give you insight into how to play from the heart and with passion. Seeing a student master a song or genre they enjoy, and the confidence it builds is the greatest reward. One of his favorite experiences was teaching my son and father how to play guitar.
