Formal Education:
I have a Bachelors Degree from UNT (Integrative Studies: Bachelor of Science). I also have two and a half years of education form the UNT Jazz program (Applied Jazz Saxophone)
Private Education:
I have taken lessons from many great saxophonists including Joel Frahm, Shelley Carrol, Brad Leali, and Eric Nestler.
Performing Experience:
I have been a performer for 16 years, starting early by playing outside on Church street in Vermont. Since then I have played at the Grand Ole Opry, luxury hotels, weddings, Italy, and St. Thomas.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught for 8 years. I have worked professions that require teaching multiple students at the same time. I know how to write curriculums and accommodate my students’ needs. I enjoy teaching my students how to play their favorite songs (of any genre). I believe it is important to show them how versatile our instrument is.
