Philip Ad.

Hi, I'm Philip, a young pianist/keyboardist from Atlanta, GA. I began classical training at age seven with a teacher down the street named Victor Manison, from Ghana Africa. Early on I would pick up songs from the radio and from tapes and CD's lying around the house and learn them by ear. In 2005 I graduated from Chamblee High School where I performed in the Jazz Band and took an Advanced Placement Music Theory class. From there I went on to The University of Memphis for a 2 years, performing in various Jazz combos, Soul Bands, and churches, getting exposure on the Memphis music scene, until transferring to Huston-Tillotson on a scholarship in 2007-finding my way to Austin, TX, and submerging myself into the music scene here.   Some more of my credentials:  -I am a Music Theory aficionado, I aced my AP Music Theory class in High School, and every other music class since then.  -I am getting ready to Graduate from college (This May) with a Bachelor's of the Arts in Music Performance    -I represented my college in the National HBCU All-Star Jazz Band in 2009. (NYC)   -I am a nice person, good with kids, and I've been told I seem to have a professional attitude around people in general.
