Claire began playing violin at the age of 4 Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking private lessons and playing in a variety of musical group. She gained performance experience in West Texas and the DFW area by playing at such groups as the Civic Orchestra of Abilene, the Brazos Chamber Orchestra, BowTies and Strings, and the Strings 4 All Seasons Quartet. Claire has also frequently played in worship groups for various churches. Though Claire can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical and pop/contemporary which had great influence on her style of playing. Claire loves music because it has the power to evoke a wide range of emotion and loves teaching music because she wants to help others expand their creativity and passion.
