I kicked off my musical journey back in 6th grade when I joined the beginning percussion band class. It was such a fun experience that I continued with band all throughout high school! After graduating, I jumped into the Music Education program at WTAMU, where I had the amazing opportunity to learn from Dr. Tariq.

I've had the pleasure of jamming with bands across a wide range of styles, from jazz and musical theater back in school to rocking out with metal groups and everything in between! These days, I mostly find myself playing with a couple of country and western bands, a buddy who loves the blues, and performing at a few local churches. It's a fun mix!

Back in high school, I discovered my passion for teaching and sharing music, hoping to become a music educator! During my senior year, I had the wonderful opportunity to assist with the beginning percussion class at our local middle school. Since then, I've enjoyed giving lessons to a variety of students—whether they're young kids eager to play the drums, teenagers who have the basics down and want to take their skills to the next level, or even a few adults who decided to pick up the sticks later in life. It's been a rewarding journey!
