He gained performance experience in the Austin, Texas area by playing at such venues as Antone's and with acts such as Wendy Colonna, Omni Color Waves, Michelle Mayfield, Elastic Cactus, and his band Reese and the Bonus Plan. Though Reese can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are blues/rock and funk, which had great influence on his style of playing. Reese loves music because of the magic of creativity and loves teaching music because of the satisfaction of watching yourself grow and discover.
