Hi, my name is Rob. I've been a musician since I received my first guitar at 9 years old! I was lucky enough to have private lessons from a great teacher, and that became the foundation of my musical life. I participated in school bands playing percussion instruments for years after I had ended guitar lessons. Playing music is the gift that keeps on giving, and it only gets better with time. I'm 27 now, and I play my guitar more than ever. I can't seem to put it down! Over the years, I've helped several people learn many things in their own musical lives, and continually finding myself in that position fills me with absolute joy for so many reasons. I write, record, and produce full songs/projects including guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Beginner - Intermediate
I've done hundreds of recordings since I started 10 years ago! I've made countless songs & handfuls of completed projects by myself and with a ton of collaborators. I can teach you every step of the way, from the first time you press record, to the first time you press play on your own Spotify record! These lessons are dependent on hardware/software available, but we can absolutely make something worthwhile with whatever is available. I can also make suggestions on the equipment that would get you the best bang for your buck to get started. This is my greatest passion!

I have written countless songs over the years spanning a myriad of genres! I can help you learn how to write music from the ground up, as songwriting has many layers. I can show every individual part of the process, or any part you're interested in from lyrical content, to song structure.

I sing constantly, and deliberately train my vocals daily! Over the years, I've helped many people find their voice through band projects, vocal recording sessions, etc. I can help you find your voice, and use it the way you want to.

Beginner -
I can teach the basics and help form proper technique to start anyone off holding down a groove. I can teach you how to read sheet music, and offer enough lesson plans to keep a beginner challenged & progressing for quite some time!
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I can help you learn almost anything! I'm happy to work with any level of player, and create a guide to achieve your goals-whatever they are! My specialty is finger picking on acoustic, and I can share techniques that could give a seasoned guitarist quite the challenge. I play in an alternative rock band & know plenty of other styles and techniques! 18 years of guitar experience.
