Hi, my name is Angela and I am a piano teacher from Houston. I have been a student of music for 25 years. My musical influences include classical, jazz and contemporary and. My teaching style can best be described as a flow but structured to feel the music. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to leave the student actually enjoying the journey, not a chore. In my lessons, you can expect to learn theory but also ear training. I like to tell my students let the music flow through you. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the excitement on a student from accomplishing they didnt think they could. My favorite performance was Debussy, Arebesquebeautiful song. My students love that I let them enjoy the process. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach bass. My approach as a teacher is to let you learn and love the piano.
