Hello! My name is Benjamin, and I’m a professional musician and instructor with hands-on experience in both performance and industry navigation. As the bassist of OTIS VCR—one of Oklahoma’s top hardcore punk bands—I’ve toured extensively, performed alongside renowned artists like Zulu, GEL, and Heart to Gold, and contributed to a growing discography with over 60K streams on Spotify. Beyond my performance career, I’ve worked in the Houston music industry, gaining invaluable experience in live production, networking, and artist development. My teaching experience includes mentoring students like Jastin Martin, who was recently signed to Universal Music Group, helping them develop their skills and industry readiness. While my student roster has been small, my instruction is highly personalized, focusing on real-world application and artistic growth. I specialize in teaching ear training and helping students learn any song by ear, a crucial skill for musicians looking to develop strong musical intuition and adaptability.
