Hi, my name is Dobbi, and I am a bassist, initially from Iowa. I have been a student of music for 16 years. I primarily teach bass guitar but can also teach guitar. My favorite thing about teaching is offering fun insight into a field that fosters creativity and individuality. The teaching style I employ is student-centric, meaning that the class materials will match the needs of the student, thus allowing each student to grow in a way that best suits their position in the learning process. My approach as a teacher is to use practicality and compassion. In my lessons, it is typical to study music theory, go over exercises/warm-ups, alongside many other aspects related to bass and music.
