Hi, my name is Elliot and I am a vocalist from Rollins College. I have been a student of music for three years. My musical influences include AJR, The Crane Wives, Laufey, and more! I also enjoy numerous genres of music. My teaching style can best be described as tailored to the student and their personal way of learning. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I don’t believe in one way being the only way, especially in music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn Voice, Piano, Guitar, and ways to write originals if they desire. I like to tell my students that things take time and practice, and is always worth the effort we put in. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the love for music move through them as they develop into their own musicians. My favorite performance was Vespers for Rollins College. My students love that I don’t stick to one way of teaching my material. I primarily teach Voice, but I can also teach Piano, Guitar, Songwriting skills.
