Aaron D.
Guitar Lessons, Orchestral Lessons
Home or Webcam
Aaron began playing Violin at the age of four, taught by his parents and playing in local Orchestras and Symphonies such as Youth Music Monterey. Throughout his education he regularly entered and played in state-wide honors groups in California, such as Cal All-State orchestra and CODA. Over the years, he developed his skills further by learning guitar, starting at age 12. He gained performance experience in the Monterey Bay area by playing at such venues as the Sunset Center in Carmel, The Carmel Mission, and the Monterey Blues Festival; and with his string quartet Carmel Strings, countless wedding venues including golf courses, beaches, and Big Sur locales. His additional interest in guitar allowed him to expand beyond classical genres into rock, blues, and jazz, including playing both instruments in his own band, White Room, and performing with Blues in the Schools. He gained experience teaching as a volunteer with the Keeping Music Alive organization, and teaching at Summer Camps for over a decade, including children and adults of all ages and abilities. He then pursued music at Belmont University, starting as a Viola major before switching to Music Business. Though Aaron can teach many different genres of music, from classical to rock and pop, his excitement comes from when genres come together and learn from each other. Aaron loves teaching, listening, and playing music, and also enjoys songwriting and audio engineering in his free time. Whether you are a beginner just picking up a violin, or a professional guitarist wanting to hone your skills and polish your ideas, Aaron can help you expand and enhance your playing. Aaron is excited to learn how he can help you reach your musical goals. Signup now to schedule a meeting!
