Hi welcome! I’m so glad you are viewing my profile. My name is Liz, I’m a classically trained musician with a B.A. in Music from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I’ve played at various venues including Myers Park Country Club, Art House Museum, Boar’s Head and Wintergreen Resort. Performing classical pieces and hits from the 1930’s to the 1970’s, my shows are elegant and nostalgic. I have a passion for teaching and taught piano and voice at the British International School of Charlotte and 7Keys Music. My teaching style is rooted in keen observation and customizing lessons and methods for each student. My pedagogy influences include Howard Richman, Heinrich Neuhaus, David Chang and Edwin Gordon. Hi. I’m a conscientious pianist with formal education, a strong music education background, exceptional problem solving skills and clear communication abilities. When working with me you can expect planned and structured lessons that are carefully curated to your unique needs. We will have lots of fun while working together to reach your goals.
