Kate began playing violin at the age of 4. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking private lessons and partaking in her school's orchestra. She gained performance experience in the Lakewood area by playing with her high school orchestra. Though Kate can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are classical specifically the suzuki method which had great influence on her style of playing. Kate loves music as she has grown up with the appreciation of classical music and loves teaching music because she believes that everyone should learn and appreciate the beauty that music brings into the world.
