Hi, my name is Christian and I currently work at The UPS Store in Brookhaven & serve as band director at The Path Church in Atlanta, originally from Columbia, SC. I have been a student of music for 24 years. My musical influences include guitarists such as Carlos Santana, Andy Summers, BB & Albert King, I also enjoy composing music as well. My teaching style can best be described as structural & creative. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I'm innovative. In my lessons, you can expect to learn tuning, chords, effective chord progressions, & solo riffs. I like to tell my students to not rush the learning process, listen to other famous guitarists for inspiration, & set a time to practice on your own at least 30 min. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students progress & develop their own style over time. My approach as a teacher is to share my knowledge of playing various guitar styles so my students will be able to pass that onto the next generation. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
