Jorge has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums and piano at the age of 13 and continued his education by attending the National School of Music in Honduras. His musical influences include jazz, blues, rock, gospel and latin music as bossa nova and samba. Jorge's favorite thing about music is creating and performing and his favorite thing about teaching music is to see the process and the progress of the students while they learn, providing them with the necessary tools to get independent in order to play they favorite music or styles. One of his favorite teaching experiences was getting ready his students to participate of the national music fest during many years. When taking lessons with Jorge you can expect starting playing your instrument from the first class.
