Joseph has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 9 and continued his education by playing in a band with his brother, and is self-taught. His musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, and David Gilmour. Joseph's favorite thing about music is how it heals the soul and can be used for others to express themselves, leading listeners to feel understood, continuing to share creative ideas. His favorite thing about teaching music is being able to spread the joy and gift of music onto other families and generations. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching his younger cousin Cyrus how to play guitar when they were both just teenagers. Cyrus is now the lead guitarist for the metal band “Izalith”, which just recorded there first debut records in Nashville, Tennessee, sharing a studio space used by legends such as Neil Diamond, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban.
