Kibbs is an enthusiastic teacher and an avid player of fingerstyle acoustic and electric guitar and bluegrass! He teaches guitar, voice, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and bass. The fingerstyle techniques of James Taylor, Jim Croce and Merle Travis Travis picking are his wheelhouse. He is a firm believer in practice and tailors his classes towards the student's goal. As a musician from St. Augustine, Florida, Kibbs studied Music at Flagler College and has experience singing bass, baritone, and tenor in church choirs. Kibbs has also taught the blind at the Florida School of the Deaf and Blind for two years. An gigging musician, Kibbs has experience playing festivals, private events, dinner shows, cabarets, studio recordings, weddings, and busking on the street.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
I teach Country, Pop, Folk, and Bluegrass writing. I will breakdown how I write and how to get to better at coming up with lyrics, guitar chords, and singing phrases.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
I teach how to play bass-lines that help the student learn how to improvise bass-lines. We learn to play without a pick. These lessons are fun and tailored to each players goals.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
I will teach you to sing. The goal of these lessons is to bring you further along and hopefully to where the student feels comfortable singing for an audience.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner to Intermediate Bluegrass, Beginner to advance finger-style. I teach finger-style in the styles if James Taylor, Jim Croce and Merle Travis. I teach some basic theory. I also teach guitar in combination with vocals for those who are interested.
