Hello! I came up playing on my mom’s pots and pans and started taking lessons (and playing on a real drum) around 5 years old. I participated in my Junior High and High School symphonic, marching and jazz bands while studying under private instructors that focused on reading, rudiments and drum set. I can also teach the basics of mallet percussion. I’ve been playing live gigs since 1992 and have taught students full-time since 2001. I play/teach a variety of styles including rock, jazz, blues and Latin.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Beginning students will start with learning to read notes and rest and an introduction to basic techniques. More advanced students can expect more involved techniques and coordination as well as learning songs and song structure amongst other aspects.
